What is sadnesy ?

Sadnesy is a jewelry brand created in 2023.

What do we make?

Currently we make jewelry such as earrings, rings and necklace.

In the future, we have other, more extravagant projects.

What makes the brand different from others?

Unlike most other jewelry brands, we use CNC machines instead of casting process to make our jewelry. CNC machines work with milling methods.

Milling uses a cutter (tool) to remove material from a block to give it a specific shape. It's like sculpting, but with a machine!
This process enables us to obtain more precise, stronger shapes and atypical designs. What's more special, the jewelry is entirely machined from a single block of material. This makes them solid and timeless. 

Product quality

All our jewelry is made from medical-grade stainless steel. Medical stainless steel offers several advantages. It is corrosion-resistant, easy to clean and sterilize and offers excellent durability.
 
In addition, it's compatible with the human body, making it an ideal material for jewelry.
You can wear your jewelry with complete peace of mind.

Once machined with the CNC machine, the jewelry is returned to us in its raw state. After that, we proceed to these following stages to come to a final product: 


1. CNC machining is like sculpting or shaping a part to the desired form. Special machines are used to remove material and produce a precise, well-finished part. It's a process widely used in industry to manufacture all kinds of metal parts, such as screws, gears or parts for cars. It's a bit like creating art with machines!
 

2. Deburring is used to remove burrs or sharp edges to achieve a smooth, safe finish.
   

3. Trovalizing is a surface finishing process. It consists in using abrasive means to round off and even out the angles of the part. This process also preserves the part's dimensions and characteristics. It is a technique commonly used in the mechanical industry to improve the appearance and functionality of stainless steel parts.

4. Electropolishing is an electrochemical process used to polish and improve the finish of stainless steel parts. It involves immersing the part in an electrolytic bath and applying an electric current to remove surface imperfections and achieve a smooth, bright finish. It's an effective method for eliminating last scratches and improving corrosion resistance.

5. Laser engraving is a technique used to mark or engrave stainless steel objects using a concentrated laser beam. This creates permanent, precise markings on the surface of the part, without damaging its structure. It is a popular method for personalizing, tracing and adding information to stainless steel parts.

Our inspiration

We have very diverse and varied inspirations.

 

Firstly, in terms of temporality: our inspirations are timeless because they are influenced by different eras and periods of time. For example, our first collection has been inspired by gothic architecture. 

Another source of inspiration is the use of symmetrical shapes because they are structured and regular. This makes them easy to understand and manipulate.  Shapes offer a clear, universal visual language. Geometric shapes are also aesthetically pleasing, evoking a sense of order and harmony. They are an effective way of representing and communicating ideas visually.

Our inspirations evolve and change according to the trends and cultural movements. This allows you to explore and draw on a variety of influences to create something new and unique.
